Portland VBC Placemaking Calendar
Our community project cycle includes a call for proposals starting Sept 9, 2019 with a deadline to send these in by 11.59pm, Thur, January 10, 2019. We then run a train-the-trainers program between February and May 2019 on Thursday evenings to get folks geared up for their projects. Most projects are implemented during our ten-day barnraiser - the Village Building Convergence 2019/ VBC 19, Fri May 31-Sun June 9, 2019. Sometimes, the natural building projects extend into the summer but the last date that we support painting projects is on National Night Out, the first Tuesday in August.
