Children welcome with supervisionJean's Urban Forest Farm is an educational farm located in SE Portland that is managed by the Institute of Permaculture Education for Children. The farm hosts regular workshops, classes, trainings and a vegetable CSA.
Our VBC projects this year include building a vine fruit pergola out of site-sourced cedar wood. Learn wood peeling, planing and joining techniques as we build a fruitful future at Jean’s Farm!
Fridays also include our weekly public Farm Work Parties. There will be many planting, harvesting and learning opportunities in the gardens on these Fridays!
Lunches will be provided each day listed above. No experience necessary to attend, lend a hand, learn new skills and meet new people!
This site is not open to the public during unlisted days and hours. Our Facebook page will be where we share project updates with the public, so check it the day you plan to attend.
All visitors traveling by vehicle must park/drop off on SE 36th Ave and walk to farm address. Call or text Matt with date and access questions.
