  • Please arrive at 6pm, Ritual to begin at 7.
  • Bring food to share, beautifully prepared and labeled with ingredients
  • Wear green finery
  • Bring your visions of a future in which the world we are working for has come to be: environmental restoration, social justice, healthy communities and life ways...
  • Be prepared to toast to your visions
  • Please also stay after if you can to help us clean up

Sharing the work of setting up and cleaning up is part of the magic, so jump in and lend a hand!

bring an instrument/songs to share for an informal musical bonfire afterwards

This special community-based night is a ritual feast to envision a world of shared abundance and social justice. Our VBC community is invited to this Green Dragon Dinner at The MudHut Kulturhaus, an urban permaculture homestead and community hub in St. Johns, overlooking the Willamette River and St. Johns Bridge. The Green Dragon is the greed eater, and this ritual feast is a spell to heal greed, created by Pomegranate Doyle and practiced in magical circles for decades.

Through ritual, storytelling and sharing the bounty of our hands and the earth, we'll feast as a prayer to restore right relationships for the healing of the Earth and all it's inhabitants. Magic is direct action. Magic is healing through re-patterning. Magic is using the full range of our influence. Come join us at the crossroads of magic and activism. The event is free, with donations accepted to support the house.

Guests bring a potluck dish to share and will have some sort of instruction before they arrive as to how to prepare and what to expect: wear green, be ready to toast out loud to the world you'd like to see and are working to create, and bring beautiful food labelled with ingredients.

While this event is being offered on a donation basis, attendees are required to RSVP. Directions will be provided to registrants.
