Join us for a day of art and community building at the intersection of NE 12th and Klickitat (Map)! We'll be painting a mural designed by Paola De La Cruz with community input to draw attention to a well-loved pedestrian path connecting us to Irving Park. Anyone is welcome to stop by and help with painting, children included. Painting project will be accompanied by a block party on NE 12th from Siskiyou to Fremont. The schedule for the day will be:
9-10am: Artist begins chalking, people arrive
10am-12pm: Paint primer
12-1pm: Potluck lunch while the primer dries (bring a dish to share!)
1-3pm: Painting
3pm onward: Celebrate our art and enjoy a block party!
